FULL MOUTH REHABILITATION

At Hilltop dental we believe not only every patient is unique and special, but also every tooth. This belief is important as we become involved with cases that involve multiple teeth of the oral cavity that require multiple phases and subspecialties of the dental profession. Cases where the patient has lost the integrity of their bite but also times their oral cavity suffers from one or more additional conditions such as hopeless teeth, periodontal disease, teeth with root canal conditions, T.M.J dysfunction and so forth.

Generally, priorities are given in eliminating patients discomfort and the pathologic conditions of the hard and soft tissues. Hopeless teeth are extracted, periodontal conditions are addressed and treated Root Canals are all performed prior to initiating any restorative treatments.

For over 25 years Dr. George Apelian renders almost all multi-subspecialty procedures. He often, combines more than one phase of the treatment so that patients may save time, multiple visits to various specialist (Oral Surgeons, Periodontists, Endodontists), multiple anesthetic injections and of course financial resources.

Occasionally, Dr. Apelian constructs an interim or a transitional prosthesis, (fixed or removable) while the patient is healing and their oral cavity is getting ready for the final restorative phase. This interim transitional prosthesis along with utilizing diagnostic wax ups help to further asses the patient’s conditions, especially the occlusion (bite) and the aesthetics.
